Rojas Music Foundation Projects

Children's Orchestra Program

The Rojas Music Foundation fulfills its mission of empowering communities through music education, performance, and cultural exchange by funding and supporting our Children's Orchestra Program. This program gives students access to professional instruction, quality instruments, and rich performance opportunities that they might not otherwise have.

At the Rojas Music Foundation, we believe every child deserves the opportunity to experience the power of music—regardless of financial circumstances or access to arts education.

Our Children’s Orchestra Program expands access to high-quality music education for students in communities where arts programs are limited, providing instruments, instruction, mentorship, and performance opportunities that help young musicians thrive.

The Rojas Music Foundation Children’s Orchestra brings together young musicians from diverse backgrounds to learn, rehearse, and perform as part of a vibrant orchestral community.

Through weekly rehearsals, sectional coaching, and public performances, students develop:

• Musical excellence and discipline
• Teamwork and collaboration
• Confidence and leadership
• Cultural awareness through shared artistic experiences

Students receive access to professional instruction, instruments when needed, and opportunities to perform in community concerts throughout the Dallas–Fort Worth area.

For many students, the orchestra becomes more than a music program—it becomes a place of belonging, mentorship, and inspiration.

Participation in the arts has been shown to improve academic engagement, social development, and long-term educational outcomes. By removing financial and accessibility barriers, the Rojas Music Foundation ensures talented young musicians have the opportunity to grow and succeed.

How Sponsors Make a Difference

• Provide scholarships for students with limited access to arts education
• Supply instruments and learning materials
• Bring professional musicians and educators to mentor students
• Present community concerts that celebrate culture and creativity

Together, we are building a program that empowers young people through music while strengthening the cultural life of our communities.

When you support the Rojas Music Foundation Children’s Orchestra, you are investing in the creativity, confidence, and potential of the next generation.

We invite corporate partners, foundations, and community leaders to join us in expanding access to music education and creating life-changing opportunities for young musicians.

Community Concert Series

The Rojas Music Foundation Community Concert Series brings people together through the shared experience of live music. These concerts are designed to be welcoming, accessible events where students, families, and community members can experience the power of music in an inspiring and inclusive environment.

Through the series, audiences enjoy performances by talented student musicians, local artists, and guest performers representing a wide range of musical traditions. Each concert celebrates the diversity of our community while giving young musicians the opportunity to perform in a professional setting, develop confidence on stage, and share their growth with the public.

The Community Concert Series plays an important role in advancing the Foundation’s mission of empowering communities through music education, performance, and cultural exchange. It opens the door for community members who may not otherwise have access to live music to experience high-quality performances close to home.

These concerts also serve as a platform for cultural exchange. By presenting music from different cultures and traditions, the series encourages audiences to discover new sounds, learn from one another, and celebrate the rich musical diversity that exists within our community. Through education, performance opportunities, and shared cultural experiences, the Community Concert Series helps build stronger connections between students, families, artists, and neighbors—demonstrating how music can bring people together and inspire the next generation of musicians and music lovers.
